SEPTEMBER-“Manners Under the Big
Top”
Step right up and join Ringmaster Jo
in celebrating Good Manners Month for Kids under the
big top. It’s a tent load of circus stories and
songs that teach the basics of good manners.
Listeners will learn the principles of respect,
kindness, courtesy and thoughtfulness as they take
an active role as tigers, elephants, tight rope
walkers, and more.
OCTOBER-“Country Hoe Down”
Put on your cow-friendly boots and
grab a partner as Granny McDonald invites you and
the youngins to some rootin’ tootin’ down on the
farm animal tales. Whether it’s kissing a cow,
givin’ a pig a belly rub, or chasing rabbits through
the pumpkin patch, it’ll be the fall hootenanny
you’re lookin’ for!
NOVEMBER-“Thank Your Way Across the
U.S.A.”
Jo has filled her cornucopia with
special stories that let children explore and
celebrate the diversity and excitement of our
country. We’ll travel in tales over shores, fields,
trails, beaches, and mountains to discover the
abundant blessings of this great nation.
DECEMBER-“Raggedy Ann and Andy’s
Christmas Adventures”
Join Raggedy Ann (alias Jo Ho) and other Raggedy
pals for some true candy heart holiday tales about
finding happiness within, giving to others, and the
joy of friendship.
JANUARY-“Animals of the Arctic”
Put on those woolies and long johns as we venture
north to meet some of the most unique Arctic animals
there are. Hear interesting facts and delightful
stories of Walrus, Seal, Polar Bear, Snowy Owl, and
Musk Ox. We might even have a surprise encounter
with Beluga Whale on this frozen escapade!
FEBRUARY-“Bedtime Tales and
Lullabies”
Kids will be anxious to snuggle up in
a warm blanket for Jo’s “tuck me in” stories and
songs that sooth and delight the soul. We’ll get
cozy this wintry month with these fun toe-warming
tales. Pass the hot chocolate but don’t mistake
your pillow for a marshmallow!
MARCH-“Delicious Nutritious Stories,
Songs and Poems”
It’s National Nutrition Month and we’ll take a big
bite into delectable tales, tunes, and rhymes about
food that encourage good eating habits. We’ll play
with our food a bit with some silly ditties too!
How about some fried worms with that broccoli?
APRIL-“Be A C.H.E.R.U.B.”

Celebrate Earth Day Month in this
extraordinary “going green” storytelling program.
Through informative teaching tales, Jo invites tiny
hands to lend their hands in helping our world
remain beautiful. Kids will delight in earning their
“wings” by doing some save the earth things!
MAY-“Caldecott Award Winning Picture
Books”
Since 1938 The Caldecott’s have been
recognized for their “joyousness of picture books as
well as their beauty.” Zip through the years of
these award winners with Jo with stops for her
favorites and a look at many incredible
illustrations. This storytelling/reading adventure
will be a “Glorious Flight” (winner 1984) for your
young scholars.
