 Educational and entertaining storytelling programs

 SEPTEMBER-“Aesop’s Fables From a clever crow to a brave little mouse, these short tales of long ago still make a big impact today!  Humorously presented with delightful costumes and props, this back to school program offers gentle lessons in goodness, kindness, sharing, and friendship.

OCTOBER-“Old MacDonald’s Pumpkin Patch”  It’s off to Granny MacDonald’s farm for a fun fall day of apple pickin’, barnyard dancin’, and pumpkin patch visitin’.  Granny (alias Jo Ho) spins yarns of scarecrows, silly pumpkins, and lively barn critters along with some toe-tappin’ and hand clappin’country sing-a-longs.

NOVEMBER-“Home Sweet Home”  What a perfect month to give thanks for family and to honor the kindred clan!  Stories of sensational siblings, rousing relatives, and perky parents offer up a genealogical good time of exploring the family tree.

DECEMBER-“Penguins at the North Pole” Follow the penguin tracks as these cute birds make their way to the North Pole to discover the true meaning of Christmas.  They’ll have a waddling jolly time with Santa, the elves, and reindeer as they discover true holiday magic and the reason for the season.

JANUARY-“Alaskan Adventure”  Gear up in your parkas and mukluks for a winter journey to icy Alaska. Through stories, songs, interesting facts, and breathtaking photos, travelers will get nose to nose with the Eskimos, polar and katmai bears, Beluga whales, and the dog mushing Malamutes and Siberian Huskies. 

FEBRUARY-“Cozy Quilt Tales”   Wrap up in a comfy quilt and get cozy in some PJ’s as Jo presents homespun tales to warm little hearts and toes.  These charming blanket tales offer stitches of laughter and a wee bit of history, capturing the love of rural life.

MARCH-“Ms. Bookfinder’s Magical Bookmobile”  Come along with me, in my magic bookmobile, chimes Ms. Bookfinder!  Listeners will cruise through the shelves of great children authors such as Seuss, Kimmel, Carle, and more for a hilarious interactive picture book excursion.

 APRIL-“Bunnies, Ducklings, Chicks, and Lambs”  Celebrate Spring with the exciting arrivals of these darling babies.  Hop with the bunnies, quack with the ducklings, peep with the chicks, and baa with the little lambs in these springtime welcoming tales.

MAY-“Under the Sea”   Take an early splash into summer in this underwater adventure with stories of starfish, octopus, shark, sea horse, and more!  Learn simple details about the secret world of the ocean’s inhabitants and the delicate world in which they live.

Raggedy Ann and Andy Adventures- Join Raggedy Ann and other Raggedy pals for some true candy heart tales about finding happiness within, giving to others, and the joy of friendship.  

Animals of the Arctic- Venture north to hear interesting facts and delightful stories of Walrus, Seal, Polar Bear, Snowy Owl, and Musk Ox.

Bedtime Tales and Lullabies-  “Tuck me in” stories and songs that sooth and delight the soul. 

Delicious Nutritious Stories and Songs- Take a big bite into delectable tales and tunes that encourage good eating habits.
